Safeguards designed for the information we handle

01

Scope

This Policy applies to our Site and direct customer interactions. A third-party marketplace, social platform, payment provider, delivery carrier, or linked website has its own privacy practices. Review that party's notice when you use its service.

02

Personal information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

  • Identifiers and contact details, such as name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, account name, and online identifiers.
  • Order and commercial information, such as products viewed or purchased, custom-mix selections, transaction history, discounts used, returns, refunds, and customer-service records.
  • Payment information. Payment providers may collect full card or account details. We generally receive limited details such as payment status, payment method, card brand, expiration date, or last four digits.
  • Device and internet activity, such as IP address, browser, device type, operating system, pages viewed, clicks, referring pages, search terms, session dates and times, and approximate location inferred from IP address.
  • Communications and content, such as messages, reviews, survey responses, photos submitted with a claim, promotion entries, and preferences you choose to share.
  • Marketing and advertising information, such as email or text preferences, interactions with campaigns, cookie identifiers, and inferred product interests.

03

How we collect information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you when you browse, order, create an account, contact us, submit a review, enter a promotion, or request customer service.
  • Automatically through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies when you use the Site or open certain communications.
  • From service providers and business partners, including payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, carriers, advertising or analytics providers, and marketplaces through which you interact with us.
  • From public sources when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect our rights, or maintain accurate business records.

04

How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • Process payments, accept and fulfill orders, create custom mixes, arrange delivery, send confirmations, and handle returns, refunds, and claims.
  • Provide customer service, respond to questions, maintain accounts, and remember settings or shopping-cart activity.
  • Protect customers, the Site, and our business by detecting fraud, abuse, security incidents, payment risk, or violations of our terms.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, personalize, measure, and improve the Site, products, advertising, and customer experience.
  • Send transactional communications and, where permitted, marketing messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing without affecting order or service messages.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, food-safety, consumer-protection, legal-process, and other legal obligations; establish or defend legal claims; and enforce our agreements.

05

How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Vendors that perform services for us, such as site hosting, order management, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer support, cloud storage, analytics, marketing, and security.
  • Carriers, logistics providers, fulfillment partners, and customs authorities as needed to deliver an order.
  • Marketplaces, social platforms, advertising partners, and analytics providers when you use their features or when we measure or deliver advertising, subject to the choices described below.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misconduct, or resolve a dispute.
  • A buyer, investor, lender, successor, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Certain disclosures involving advertising cookies or similar technologies may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. Where applicable, you may opt out as described under Your privacy rights.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and similar technologies help the Site function, remember preferences, keep a cart, understand performance, prevent fraud, and support advertising. You can control many cookies through your browser and any cookie or privacy controls displayed on the Site. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout or other features from working.

Browser Do Not Track signals do not have one uniform legal or technical standard. Where applicable law requires it, we treat a recognized universal opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device that sends the signal. You may need to submit a separate request if you want the choice associated with your account or other devices.

07

Marketing choices

Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or follow the instructions in a marketing text to stop future marketing through that channel. We may still send nonmarketing messages about an order, account, security issue, policy update, or customer-service request.

08

Your privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence, the law that applies to us, and certain exemptions, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of personal information, correction, deletion, or information about categories of information and recipients. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; withdraw consent; or receive portable data.

You may exercise an available right through any privacy-choice link displayed on the Site or through the Contact Us page. Write “Privacy Request” in the subject or first line and state the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account. An authorized agent may submit a request where the law allows, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If we deny a request and your state provides an appeal right, reply to our decision or submit a new message labeled “Privacy Appeal.” You may also contact your state attorney general or other privacy regulator. We may retain or deny access to information when an exception applies, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, recordkeeping, or another person's privacy.

09

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including fulfillment, customer service, fraud prevention, tax and accounting records, food-safety or product issues, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the relationship with you, legal requirements, and whether the information is needed to protect the Site or our rights. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.

10

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle. No internet transmission, payment system, or storage method is completely secure. Protect your password, use a unique credential, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

11

Children

The Site is a general-audience shopping service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. If you believe a child submitted information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as required. A person who has not reached the age of legal majority should use the Site only with a parent or legal guardian.

12

International visitors

Rich & Richers operates in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or another country where our providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use an appropriate legal basis or transfer mechanism.

13

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version with a new last-updated date. If a change is material, we will provide any additional notice required by law.
